The American Hockey League announced several suspensions from different incidents from the last few days.
The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Left Wing Kevin Harvey has been suspended for 5 games as a result of his actions in a couple of games last weekend.
Harvey received 4 for a blow to the head of an opponent during a game vs. the Rochester Americans on November 6 and 1 for a slashing incident during a game against the Norfolk Admirals on November 7. Both Suspensions were levied under the provision of AHL Rule 29.1 (Supplementary Discipline)
Harvey will miss the Crunch's games against the Albany River Rats (11/11), the Providence Bruins on 11/13, the Hamilton Bulldogs (11/14), the Albany River Rats on November 18 and the Rochester Americans on November 20.
The AHL Also announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers right wing Pascal Morency has been suspended for 5 games as a result of the game on November 7 against the Hartford Wolfpack.
He was suspended under the provision of AHL rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline) for leaving the players bench on a legal line line chance for the purpose of starting an altercation.
Morency will miss the game against the Springfield Falcons (11/13), the Adirondack Phantoms (11/14), Sunday November 15 against the Portland Pirates, and then November 20 and 21 against the Abbotsford Heat.
